Runners bracelet strings were dipped into our Shrimp Cocktail. *The waiter was nice, but his service didn't fit the atmosphere if that makes sense? Loud and kind of obnoxious, for a Steak restaurant, I guess we expected a little more polished? NOT STUFFY, just polished. *We happen to be there on the 1st night of restaurant week, we were only presented with Restaurant week menus, not the traditional menus, and when I asked for the traditional menus, (as that is why we decided to try this place) I was immediately told "OK, but you BOTH cant order from the RW menu then" I said, ok, but we would to see our options" *From the moment when we were seated to when we left, we felt rushed. Some dining issues that we were a bit bothered by: Did not disappoint there, wish there were a few more options. Attentive enough, drinks were wonderful We are cocktailers, so we like to try new drinks on menus. Bartenders (2) when we were there on a Friday 6 pm reservation. Celebrating a birthday was a good reason to try BLVD as we have tried many other Chicago Steak houses. My husband and I love to try new restaurants in Chicago when we can.
